In Tan Truong Industrial Zone, Hai Duong province, on April 25, Mascot International Group organized the ground breaking ceremony for Mascot Int. Vietnam’s investment project includes a garment factory and a bonded warehouse.

The factory will serve as the global distribution center for Group’s raw material supply chain. The first phase of the project, with the total investment of 7 million USD, encompasses the building covering 12.000 meter square, and expected to hire around 400 employees.

According to Mr Thomas Bo Pedersen, Managing director of Mascot Int. Vietnam, the new facilities will start operation in January 2008. “I expect the project to be extended with a second phase in a few years time” he added.

Mascot is Denmark’s biggest producer of high quality work wear for the European market, delivering a broad range of products to all industrial sectors, including safety shoes and other kinds of protective wear.
